In Bassham v. RITA Temporaries, OJCC Case No. 25-010682BJA, Judge Brian J. Anthony addressed petitions seeking temporary disability benefits following an accepted workplace accident.

The claimant pursued TTD and TPD beginning on the accident date through the date of the final hearing. The dispute centered on whether the medical evidence supported ongoing work restrictions and entitlement to indemnity benefits.

The JCC found the claimant did not meet the burden of proof and credited the opinions supporting a full-duty release. The claims for TTD and TPD were denied, and the claim for attorney's fees and costs was also denied.
